  • Why Should I Shop At Based Music?

Based Music is a small kiwi business whose sole focus is on making sure the customer has a positive experience. Unlike bigger companies who use AI technology to communicate with their customers - our staff are real people who are wanting to help you. As well as that we can ensure our pricing is extremely low and competitive as we work closely with the distributor to ensure our customers get the lowest prices possible.

  • What Products Do You Have?

We currently are selling guitars, guitar effects pedals, guitar accessories, ukuleles and kalimbas. We currently stock the following brands: Bromo Guitars, Cry Baby, Jim Dunlop, Mahalo Ukuleles, MXR and Valencia Guitars. Though there are many brands you know and love coming in the future including Aquarian Drumheads. If you would like to know more about our brands please refer to our 'Brands' page. 

  • What Payment Methods Do You Offer?

We currently only offer Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and UnionPay. We are in the midst of sorting out a finance option for our customers.

  • What Is Your Shipping Policy?

  • Where Is Your Click & Collect Location?

Our click and collect location is: 24 Hannigan Drive, Saint Johns, Auckland 1072. For more information about click and collect please refer to our Shipping Policy. 

  • Who Do I Talk To If I'd Like To Purchase A Product That Is Not In Stock?

If you would like to purchase a product that is not in stock you can contact us through our 'Contact Us' page, here is the link: https://www.basedmusic.co.nz/pages/contact-us . Alternatively you can also email us at basedmusicco@gmail.com . If you would like to inquire about buying a product we have never had in stock please let us know as well, we are always looking to source more products for our customers and expand our brand/product range.

  • Can I Finance A Product?

We currently do not offer any finance options, but this will change in the near future so make sure to keep checking our website for updates. 

  • I Have Seen A Cheaper Price Elsewhere Can You Match It?

We strive to give our customers the cheapest prices in the New Zealand market on our products. Provide us with the details or where you saw the lower advertised price, including website links/or the current advertisement. Our staff will do our best to match it or possibly give you a lower priced exclusive offer. 

  • Is My Information Private?

The information you have provided us is only used by Based Music and is stored securely. Your payment info will never be stored by us and we have no access to it.

  • I Want To Order A Bulk Quantity Of Products, How Do I Order Bulk Quantities? 

We sell a lot of bulk products to schools, churches and community groups. If you are wanting to order bulk quantities please email us at: basedmusicco@gmail.com including what products you want to purchase and the quantities. We will get back to you to offer our pricing as we provide discounted bulk rates.
